After a few months of use, the razor coating seems to be coming off.

"Hi,

I ordered a few things last March including the rose gold zero waste razor but I’ve found that after a year of using it the metal coating has started to come off. I was out of the uk travelling so haven’t been able to do anything about it until now.

I’ve attached a few photos to show but the top sections have gone really discoloured but the handle is fine. I’ve kept it clean and not sat in water but the bits that the blade attached onto has started to peel away which means that the blades keep getting damaged really quickly and bits of the metal coating are coming off on me.

I wouldn’t usually get in touch after 17 months of using something but as it is meant to be a long lasting/ zero waste product it doesn’t seem to be lasting very well.

If you could let me know what can be done that would be great."

The only real solution I see to this is that we make one out of plastic waste.
